Becoming an AHA instructor is a simple process if you follow these four steps:
1. Have a current provider card in the discipline you wish to teach:

BLS
-
ACLS
-
PALS
2.Complete the American Heart Association’s Essential Instructor Course
3. Successfully complete an instructor course in the discipline you wish to teach
4. Be monitored by an EMR (TCF) member Curtis McWoodson Jr. while teaching your first class
